ECCP Green Transition Working Group — Hub

ECCP Green Transition Hub

Working Group on Environment, Climate, Conflict & Peace

Interactive companion to the working group's briefs and frameworks · Working draft · July 2026

Conflict-sensitive approaches to the green transition

This hub brings together the ECCP Green Transition Policy Working Group's substantive outputs — three sector briefs (Energy, Agriculture/Forests/Land Use, Critical Minerals), a governance-frameworks mapping, and an informal glossary — into a single navigable working reference.

Use the Intervention Map to see all cases, issues, tools and actors across sectors, mapped onto a matrix of energy/resource-system layers and intervention scales. Use the Briefs tab to read each brief in full. The Frameworks and Glossary tabs give quick reference to governance instruments and shared terminology.

About & downloads

What this hub is, how it was built, and how to grab the underlying source files.

What this is

This is a single-page interactive companion to the ECCP Green Transition Policy Working Group's core deliverables. It consolidates the three sector briefs (Energy; Agriculture, Forests & Land Use; Critical Minerals), the group's frameworks mapping, and the informal glossary into one navigable reference. It is not a replacement for the source documents — those remain the authoritative version, and are downloadable below.

How it is structured

The Intervention Map arranges cases, issues, tools, and actors across five layers of a resource/energy system (Production; Supply chains & networks; End-use & demand; Access & equity; Cross-cutting) and four scales of intervention (Community, National, Regional, Multilateral). Items are colour-coded by type and tagged by sector. Empty cells are deliberate — they signal gaps in the current evidence base.

The Briefs tab renders each brief in a web-native reading view with a section outline on the left. Terms defined in the glossary appear as dotted underlines and show short definitions on hover.

The Frameworks tab exposes the sectors, governance categories, and cross-tabulations from the mapping matrix as browsable cards. Each region or country card expands to show what is happening across the eleven green-transition sectors.

Caveats

Item classifications reflect judgment calls where topics straddle multiple cells (Critical Minerals sits in Production/Multilateral but is genuinely cross-cutting; hHRDD applies across all three sectors). Framework content is a mapping snapshot as of the working group's most recent update and is not exhaustive.
